2006 Ulverstone Ulysses AGM Ride - Day 2

Saturday, 04 March 2006: Armidale - Young

Still raining this morning so it's back on with the wets until lunch time with a breakfast and fuel break at Tamworth. Only a few showers and the day turns into a great one for riding. This for me is what the Ulysses AGM is all about; the ride to the destination. The plan was to get to Cowra and tour the POW Breakout Museum but time beat us. We had time to look over the site where the camp was located then, still with daylight to spare, we headed for Young. Would you believe it, country town, wedding on, everything booked out. We eventually found rooms at the pub and settled in for a few drinks and a meal at the RSL.
