Today dawned a better day than yesterday. Still cool with a maximum of 19 degrees forecast. Sorted a few things with our packing for tomorrow. Take only what we need for two weeks, pick up the rest when we return in a fortnight.
After lunch we headed into London again. Very easy riding the underground. Very good app available that sorts out the best option and gives you choices, easy even for people not local and familiar with transport options.
First stop; Harrods. What can I say, it was just another shop with flasher product for sale and very grand prices. No Red Light Specials or End-of-Line bins.
Then, across to the Victoria and Albert Museum for a look around at the sculptures, many of which were direct from Italy from the 1500s. Big complex of buildings and displays. From there it was across the road the Natural History Museum and a wander through the Volcano, Earthquake and Dinosaur exhibits. Good displays and a magnificent building.
Home for a family birthday celebration, finish packing the suitcases for tomorrow and write this up.
Tomorrow sees us start the first leg of of Ireland Tour so you should be able to look forward to a more interesting yarn each day.
